Together, Fassa and Sabrina will discuss how Callo is reshaping access to resources for creators and producers, and what it means for the future of independent filmmaking.

About Fassa Sar:
Fassa Sar is the founder of Callo, an operating system that helps Creators and Producers build, run, and operate studios around the world. She is a recognized changemaker honored by Variety, Forbes, CNBC, Essence Magazine, and TheWrap.
Fassa began her career in public service, working on a U.S. Senate campaign and serving as a Congressional fellow on Capitol Hill, before making a deliberate pivot to entertainment. She went on to work at Variety and United Talent Agency before joining Sony Pictures, where at 24 she became the studio’s youngest Creative Executive under the mentorship of Sony Pictures’ President of TriStar, Nicole Brown, acquiring productions under $50 million. It was a trajectory that gave her a rare, full-spectrum view of how stories get made, sold, and scaled.
Driven by a vision to put Hollywood’s resources into the hands of creators and producers everywhere, Fassa left Sony to become a Fulbright Scholar and earn her Master’s at University College London where she founded Callo in her master’s thesis. Today, Callo serves 14,000+ members across 60+ countries, with 1,300+ active projects representing over $300M in declared project value, and has a board that includes executives from Goldman Sachs, Hinge, and Artsy.
