About Tanja Tawadjoh:
Tanja Tawadjoh is a producer and development executive working across film, television, and documentary storytelling with a focus on internationally driven projects and strategic co-productions. She currently serves as Vice President of Development & Production at Ranfilm West, the Los Angeles-based arm of Austrian production company Ranfilm, where she oversees U.S. partnerships, development, packaging, production strategy, and transatlantic co-production initiatives.
Prior to joining Ranfilm West, Tanja served as Head of Development at Black Bicycle Entertainment and Executive Director of the Erika Film Foundation in partnership with The Ghetto Film School, where she focused on supporting emerging and underrepresented filmmakers through programming, partnerships, and fundraising initiatives.
Her work spans scripted, unscripted, and documentary projects, with experience in development, financing strategy, international co-production structures, and creative packaging. She is particularly passionate about stories that bridge cultures, challenge perspectives, and create meaningful emotional connection.
