Join executive producer Arthur Cohen for a conversation on the making of Jim Queen, the animated feature that premiered to a standing ovation at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. Produced by French animation studio Bobbypills, the film marks a bold, genre-defying entry in adult animation. Arthur will share the story behind bringing the project to life and the experience of watching it connect with audiences at one of the industry’s biggest stages.

About Arthur Cohen

Arthur Cohen is a French-American producer and the founder of Momentum Entertainment, a company specializing in international co-productions and gap financing for prestige narrative features, documentaries, and animation. Working across the U.S. and European markets, he has secured financing for projects including Nana (Olivier Dahan, coming out in 2027), Jim Queen (Marco Nguyen & Nicolas Athané, Cannes 2026), The Bird’s Placebo (Rami Jarboui, Sundance 2026), Else (Thibaut Emin, TIFF 2024), Mom’s Pale Flowers (Ali Cabbar, Istanbul International Film Festival 2026), and Cherry (Sophie Galibert, Audience Award Winner at Tribeca Film Festival 2022), which he also co-wrote.

A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Arthur began his career at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), later working in international sales at Sierra/Affinity and in creative development at 20th Century Fox. During this three years at the studio he oversaw global tentpoles including Deadpool 2, Bohemian Rhapsody and Ford vs. Ferrari. He is an alum of ACE and EAVE, serves on the CNC’s Avance sur Recettes commission, and is a member of the Wharton Club of France.

As a cross-border producer, he develops and packages films using the European co-production model. His projects have been supported by institutions including the CNC, the Région Bretagne, Les Arcs Co-Production Village, and the Torino Film Lab. He is currently in pre-production on Grizzly, his second collaboration with director Sophie Galibert, and L’Apparition, the debut by Marianne Barthélémy.
