Daphne Trinh

Daphne Trinh earned a B.S. in Graphic Communication with a minor in Media Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Early in her career, she spent time working abroad in Podgorica, Montenegro and Budapest, Hungary, where she discovered the powerful global connections forged through children’s films. A passion that continues to inspire her work today.

She then returned stateside, freelancing in Los Angeles on commercials and music videos before relocating to San Francisco, where she honed her skills coordinating events at one of the city’s popular nightlife venues.

After gaining valuable experience in both SF and LA, Daphne came back to LA to pursue her passion for film and storytelling with notable production companies including Amazon Studios, Hello Sunshine, Big Bang Productions, and Sunset Studios.

Committed to amplifying underrepresented voices in the industry, Daphne is dedicated to creating inclusive spaces for storytellers from all backgrounds. As a lifelong fan of children’s content, she believes in the power of stories to shape future generations and is excited to contribute to that legacy through her work at NewFilmmakers Los Angeles.
