Francesca Escarraga

Francesca Escarraga is an award-winning Producer, Writer and Director committed to utilizing the power of storytelling to create and amplify impactful stories that inspire positive change in society.

She majored in Screenwriting and Film and TV Development, and was awarded an Academic Distinction by the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and New York Film Academy – Los Angeles.

Her screenplay Leo Child was a finalist in the Coverfly-qualifying 2020 Scriptapalooza Screenwriting Competition in Los Angeles and in the 2023 Outstanding Screenplays Competition in London, UK, which was judged by an Oscar-winning jury. She has written, directed, and produced award-winning films and series namely And We’ll Be Okay, Sing (to me), Piece of Me, Stage 5, Delivery (Wavelength Productions), A Place for All (NBCUniversal), and a European feature documentary titled Radio Europe.

She has worked with Little Cinema on notable Hollywood projects such as Netflix’s Bridgerton (Season 2 & 3), Queen Charlotte, The Witcher (Season 3), All The Light We Cannot See, Netflix Upfront, Warner Media Upfront, Legend of Vox Machina, Disney’s Kiff, Disney’s SuperKitties, Disney Creators Lab, Westward Walt, The Handmaid’s Tale (Season 6), XBOX FanFest Live, Taco Bell Live Mas Live, The Kansas City Chiefs, Amazon’s Saltburn and Fallout.She was awarded Best Producer at the 2022 Oniros Film Awards in New York City, Best Director at the 2025 TMFF Awards in the UK, and recognized by the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Office for fostering the future generation of entertainment professionals through NewFilmmakers Los Angeles’ (NFMLA) Stage 5 CineSessions mentorship program. She also serves as an Emmy judge for the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
