Lohanne Cook

Lohanne Cook is currently the Manager, Public Engagement at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. Prior to joining the museum, Cook found joy curating film-focused conversations through an internship, where she later served as the Director of Seminars, Honors Awards, and Industry Relations. Since then, she has collaborated with film organizations and festivals to produce engaging, inclusive, and diverse educational programs included: American Cinema Editors (ACE), The Chimaera Project, New Filmmakers Los Angeles (NFMLA), Newport Beach Film Festival, San Francisco International Film Festival (SFFILM), and Variety magazine’s 10 Cinematographers to Watch and Billion Dollar Cinematographer series. She holds a BA in Communications – Entertainment Studies from California State University, Fullerton. Through her work, Cook seeks to bring filmmakers and film enthusiasts together to learn, create dialogue, and celebrate the art and craft of film.
