This month, NewFilmmakers Los Angeles is thrilled to grow its abundant catalogue of global cinema by partnering with Britweek to present two programs of stunning British independent film. From a dystopian London, to a young woman’s descent into an alluring clandestine world, to a tale of brotherhood across borders and fragile peace in the midst of wartime, to a forbidden love story told through breathtaking modern dance, these stories whisk us away to the U.K. that was, the U.K. that is, and the U.K. that could be.
Join us in celebrating the best of British arts & culture with these nine extraordinary films followed by filmmakers Q&A’s, and swanky open bar receptions atop the AT&T Center’s luxurious outdoor balcony.
Tickets: If you are a guest of Britweek, please RSVP using the link provided to you by Britweek. If you are a guest of NFMLA, please visit our tickets page to purchase tickets. If you are an NFMLA annual member please reserve your passes by visiting the Annual Member RSVP page.
